Friday we went to pick our pumpkins. Our first plan was to go to the pumpkin patch and pick our own, but we got there and it was closed, probably because it had rained earlier in the day. Then we tried to go to a greenhouse where they have a lot of neat halloween stuff set up and they were closed too. So as a last resort we ended up at HyVee, not exactly what I had in mind, but we got our pumpkins! Hopefully this weekend we will be able to carve them.
